Benjamin McKenzie and Morena Baccarin announce the arrival of their second child: ‘Welcome to the world, Arthur’
Benjamin McKenzie and Morena Baccarin have welcomed their second child together.
The Gotham couple announced the arrival of son Arthur via Instagram on Tuesday, sharing a tender shot of their infant.
‘Welcome to the world, Arthur. Gotta say, your timing is impeccable,’ Ben, 42, captioned the shot.

Posting the same photo, Morena, 41, wrote: ‘2021 is looking up. Welcome to the world Arthur. Trust us, you haven’t missed much yet.’
McKenzie and Baccarin’s growing family already includes daughter Frances, four.
The Deadpool actress also has a son named Julius, seven, with director ex-husband Austin Chick.
Morena announced the happy news back in December, revealing her budding bump during an interview on The talk.

Morena certainly has her hands full now with a baby and two kids stuck at home during the pandemic.
Reflecting on these wild times while chatting with Us Weekly in June 2020, she said: ‘I never expected to be a teacher, caretaker, mother and cook.’
‘I’m beginning to feel like a pioneer woman! It’s a lot on parents right now. Being everything for your kid’s and your partners. We have good and bad days. … The great thing about kids is that they can really entertain themselves.
‘They have amazing imaginations and as long as they feel secure and allowed to express their feelings, they can play endlessly.’

Baccarin and McKenzie met in 2014 on the first season of their hit series Gotham, which wrapped last year after five seasons.
They exchanged vows at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens in New York City in 2017, a year after welcoming their little girl.
At the time, the duo’s Gotham characters, James Gordon and Dr. Leslie Thompkins, were also expecting a baby together on-screen with Morena explaining that it was ‘a total coincidence’.
