Ashlee Simpson, 36, and Evan Ross, 32, have three children at home, including their new baby Ziggy.
The celebrity couple joined The Drew Barrymore Show for a segment on Tuesday where they dished on the secret to keeping things spicy in their marriage.
Simpson and Ross fell fast for each other after meeting at a party and in 2014 they announced their engagement, tied the knot and revealed that they were expecting their first child together.

While chatting with Drew, the singer-songwriters opened up about their meet cute during a dance-off at a friend’s birthday party.
‘I mean we caught eyes. I was like, yes. He’s so cute and he’s four years younger than me. There was a connection right away,’ Simpson said of their first encounter.
Evan added: ‘If you know Ashlee she likes to dance at a party, it’s amazing.’
The pair had a full dance-off in the middle of the soiree and despite thinking it might be ‘cheesy’, Simpson said it was fun and they had an instant connection.

‘I mean we caught eyes. I was like, yes. He’s so cute and he’s four years younger than me. There was a connection right away,’ Simpson said of their first encounter.
‘I feel like we knew it very quickly though,’ Evan said.
‘We did,’ agreed Ashlee, ‘and then we started seeing each other and I feel like soon after we were like, ‘Oh we are getting married’ and our friends were like “Woah, hold on,” but we knew, we just knew. It was like something deep right away.’
‘We kept saying we were getting married, and our friends were like, “Guys chill out,”‘ Evan added.
The couple got married at the Connecticut estate owned by Evan’s mom, music legend Diana Ross, in 2014.
‘This is from Emily from Wisconsin,’ Barrymore said. ‘She writes, “We’re new parents and exhausted! We feel like there is no more room for romance…what can we do to not lose the spark?”‘
Simpson, who is the younger sister of Jessica Simpson, was previously married to rocker Pete Wentz. They share a 12-year-old son together.
Ashlee and Evan have two children, five-year-old daughter Jagger and son Ziggy who was born in October 2020.
While on Drew’s talk show, the host read a fan question about keeping the romance alive after a baby.
‘This is from Emily from Wisconsin,’ Barrymore said. ‘She writes, “We’re new parents and exhausted! We feel like there is no more room for romance…what can we do to not lose the spark?”‘
‘Because there’s like 5, 12 and a baby and you’re changing diapers all day and what not but I think for us, I mean you are really good at it too, you are like, “It’s the middle of the day … baby’s asleep.” You know try to get in,’ Simpson said.
‘That’s a good question,’ Simpson began in response. ‘I feel like we are constantly on right now, right?’
‘Because there’s like 5, 12 and a baby and you’re changing diapers all day and what not but I think for us, I mean you are really good at it too, you are like, “It’s the middle of the day … baby’s asleep.” You know try to get in.’
Evan added: ‘The romance you know it doesn’t have to be at night. Whenever you know? Find the time.’
