Mum throws incredible fairy princess party for her daughter – and there was even a unicorn

A mum has revealed how she pulled off her daughter’s most magical birthday party yet – after the five-year-old requested a fairy garden party, a peacock chair and a surprise for the celebration.

The stunning $3,000 birthday party was captured by a professional photographer who snapped magic and happiness in every frame.

Debbie Tarveran from Perth said she handed her daughter’s requests to her party planner, Natalie Fisher from Party Perfection, and knew she would come up with something Sophie and her friends would love.

But she was blown away by the whimsical scene she created.

‘The love and excitement on my girls’ faces when they saw the party was unreal,’ Mrs Tarveran told FEMAIL.

‘Just looking at my little girl and her friends on their way to do a treasure hunt, dressed in their little outfits, they looked like fairies in a fairyland,’ she said.

The girls were treated to outfits which matched the theme, a tiny unicorn they could play with and ride, fairy floss and a ‘real-life fairy’ who showed them magic dust and told them stories of magical beings.

Their mum shared pictures from their party on their Instagram, 2hearts_1love.

‘I was brought to tears, it was amazing to see all the magical memories. But I will probably say that for the next one too,’ the doting mum said.

‘Whatever I have in my imagination Nat makes 100 times better, I love being able to just show up knowing everything is going to be perfect,’ she said.

The party creator, Mrs Fisher, 37, loves creating whimsical, magic-filled experiences for her clients.

‘It has to feel magical,’ she said of her parties.

‘For me it has always been more than just creating something that’s aesthetically pleasing, I want people to really feel the experience.’

‘I find people are wanting something more magical, refined, bespoke and certainly whimsical. Which is why I tend to steer away from more commercial themes.’

‘Kids will soon forget about the colour of the table cloth or what the cake looked like but they will never forget the feeling,’ she said.

Party Perfection does adults parties too but loves creating events for tweens.

‘I love doing parties for kids who are around ten or a bit older, the age where they want something magical still, but are too old for kiddy parties,’ she said.

The party was organised by Nat from Party Perfection, who put everything together, collaborating with her favourite ‘vendors’ in and around Perth.

The party planner has two sons of her own and says she ‘fell into party planning’ and loves to be able to create birthday adventures for little girls.

‘I was in wholesale fashion for 15 years,’ she said.

‘I put on fancy dress parties for myself, always making thing a bit extra – and then ended up throwing parties for my sons. I amassed a garage-full of props – so my friends urged me to do something with them,’ she said.

‘I have turned that passion into a business.’

The little girls spent two hours in their magical fairy land – where they went for a treasure hunt to find presents for the birthday girl and used the fairy’s wishing dust.

The party was held at a park, where there was two little waterfalls making it ‘feel super magical’.

Mrs Tarveran said it is worth having the photographer to capture the magic.
