MAFS: Major editing fail RUINS the first commitment ceremony

Not ANOTHER editing fail! Married At First Sight trailer RUINS the first commitment ceremony and reveals the fate of one bride

Channel Nine suffered from another editing faux pas on Sunday, after revealing the fate of one bride before their commitment ceremony aired.

Tension was built and the scene was set for Coco Stedman and Sam Carraro during the fiery episode, with the duo being forced to choose whether to stay in the experiment or leave following a rocky few weeks.

But before either decision was aired on TV, an advert for next week’s show appeared on-screen – showing Coco waltzing into shot, confirming she clearly doesn’t go home during the ceremony.

The trailer started by dramatically showing a high heel exit a car, before flashing to Coco putting on her mascara in a mirror.

The boisterous Pilates instructor was then seen shouting: ‘Coco’s back baby, and she’s shining!’ as she waltzed through to the cocktail party in a bedazzled dress.

Fans were quick to pick up on the editing fail, with one writing: ‘Great so coco is staying. Thanks for the spoiler lol #MAFS.’

‘Oh, well l guess Coco picks stay. Thanks for the spoiler,’ another wrote.

‘They just spoiled it with that promo #mafs,’ a third added, while a fourth chimed in: ‘Well thanks to the ad breaks we know Coco and Sam are opting to stay tonight.’

It’s not the first time Channel Nine have encountered a major editing fail this season.

At the end of February, a trailer appeared to confirm that Coco would come to have an ‘affair’ with Cameron Dunne.

In the footage, a man’s bulging arm with a huge tribal tattoo was seen tenderly stroking a brunette’s leg as they sit on a couch.

The inkings clearly matched that of Cameron, who was matched with Samantha Harvey on the show. The pair had failed to form an emotional connection despite spending the night together.

Married At First Sight continues on Monday at 7:30pm on Channel Nine
