Tamzin Outhwaite has revealed she is ‘in a really lovely place’ with her boyfriend Tom Child, who is twenty years her junior.
The former EastEnders star, 50, has been dating Tom, 30, for over three years, and has stressed that she will not let their age gap get in the way of him ‘living his life’.
She told The Sun: ‘Right now we’re in a really lovely place and I have a very full life. Tom is my partner and my lover.

‘I’m not going to stop him living his life at this age. I’m very aware of that and I’m not being frivolous with my affections. I’m being a realist.
‘Why would I want him to be with me if he wanted something else? The main thing is that I’m living in the now, which I’ve never really done. I’ve always been like, “Oh, when I have a kid”, “Oh, when I get married”, “Oh, when I buy that house.”

However, she has not ruled out having a child with her current beau, although she did say ‘it’s not on the cards’ at this present time.
The actress met Tom during a yoga class in 2017, with the pair quickly becoming an item.

They later enjoyed a romantic getaway to the Maldives that Christmas, before going public with their romance the following year.
Tamzin also revealed that she and Tom were originally supposed to embark on ‘a little fling’ when they first met, but it later progressed into something more serious.
The star previously credited her partner for helping to raise her daughters, and declared him ‘a really special human’.

Speaking to Jenny Powell and Kelly Pegg on The Hot Mess Mum Club podcast, Tamzin insisted that while her children ‘adore’ him, there are times where they also want to ‘absolutely roast him’.
She said: ‘It takes a really special human to come in as a younger step dad with two young girls.
‘To be able to sort of politely back me up with them and stay stuff like, “You can’t speak to your mum like that” and sometimes he wants to get more involved and sometimes the girls would just want to be with him.

‘They just adore him and sometimes they absolutely roast him. Well, we have a house full of hormones at the moment, with myself and my 12-year-old girl, so the hashtag here is prayfortom.
‘When we are just as we are, we have a wonderful time, and make each other laugh and sing and laugh together, it’s the closest thing to organised chaos.’
The mum-of-two went on to reflect on their romance, insisting their age gap isn’t an issue.
Tamzin explained: ‘At some point you just have to get over the hurdle of worrying about age etc and you know what, age never really comes up unless I’m talking on a podcast or a journalist asks me.’
