Margot Robbie, Chris Rock and Christian Bale film David O. Russell’s upcoming untitled project in LA
Margot Robbie and Chris Rock were spotted working on the set of an untitled David O. Russell project in Los Angeles on Thursday night.
Christian Bale and John David Washington, who are also attached to the film, were seen arriving at the set later in the evening.
Other actors confirmed to be involved in the project are Rami Malek, Zoe Saldana and Robert De Niro.

The 30-year-old actress was dressed in a black robe featuring a long cut down its middle; she wore a gold robe underneath her outer layer.
The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actress later wore a puffy jacket on top of her costume to keep her warm in the chilly winter weather.
Her naturally blond hair was dyed dark brown for the night’s shoot.
Rock kept his outfit simple, as he wore a black tuxedo and shiny leather shoes; the comedian also wore a facial covering for part of the shoot.

Washington was dressed similarly to the Madagascar voice actor, although he kept his jacket off and let a set of white suspenders hang downwards from his waistline.
Bale wore a vintage grey suit and a patterned tie; he accessorized with a wide-brimmed hat that matched the rest of his outfit.
Both performers wore sizable black facial coverings during their time on set.
Russell’s upcoming movie was first announced in January of 2020; this is his first feature-length project since his 2015 film Joy.
Rounding out the cast: John David Washington was also spotted on the set of the project, which will feature an ensemble cast

In addition to helming the project, the 62-year-old filmmaker also wrote the script and serves as one of the feature’s producers.
Filming was supposed to begin in April of last year, although the circumstances of the global pandemic forced filming to be postponed until this past January.
The movie is said to be centered around a doctor and a lawyer who begin a partnership, which is offset by their personal differences.
Michael B. Jordan was originally part of the film’s cast; he later dropped out of the project and was replaced by Washington.

During an interview with the AV Club, actress Julia Stiles, who collaborated with the director on his 2012 film Silver Linings Playbook, spoke about his methods as a filmmaker.
Specifically, the performer noted that Russell ‘constantly talks throughout your take. He’s talking at you while you’re acting or trying to act.’
The 39-year-old actress also described the director’s way of collaborating as ‘jarring.’
Stiles then remarked that the filmmaker’s approach to working with actors ‘got me out of my own head. I had no time to censor myself or be really self-conscious.’
