‘If we had only done half the job you have done, we would be in a much better position here’.

He added of visiting Australia: ‘Even if I have to quarantine, you are well worth it.’

Paul earlier told The Daily Telegraph that if the current mandatory hotel quarantine is still in place in November, he is prepared to isolate when he arrives Down Under.

‘It’d be an honour to do whatever is called for. Not just because it’s the rules and the law, you do it out of respect,’ he said.

Paul also told The Project on Friday that the new tour is going to be absolutely explosive.

‘Technically, it is the most massive and most cutting-edge show we have ever done,’ he said.

‘We figure on a last go around we need to raise the bar for the fans who have been with us since the beginning, they get a chance to know why they have been with us.’

The glam rock legends will perform in Australia from November to December 2021, playing shows in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Townsville.
