Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard are set to feature in the new ‘Tom & Jerry’ film, it was revealed on Friday.
The Good Morning Britain presenter, 53, and her co-host, 46, will voice a pair of show-stopping elephants who are required to escort guests to a high-profiled wedding ceremony.
Things go disastrously wrong when they are spooked by Jerry the mouse, who is fleeing from his old cat enemy Tom.

Speaking about the news during Good Morning Britain on Friday, Ben said: ‘My character Ben the elephant and Kate, we are very impressive, theatrical elephants and we are there to show off our style and panache.’
Kate added: ‘We are there to be elegant and carry in the stars who are getting married unfortunately it all goes horribly wrong.’
Garraway revealed that she has been a fan of ‘Tom & Jerry’ since childhood although she preferred the cat to the mouse.

The TV star said: ‘I loved Tom and Jerry when I was a kid. I was always on the side of Tom because I love cats and thought Jerry was taking the mick a little bit.’
Ben and Kate will be joined in the movie – which is a mixture of live-action and animation – by an ensemble cast that includes Chloe Grace Moretz, Michael Pena and Rob Delaney.
Chloe will play the role of Kayla, a girl who teams up with Tom to stop Jerry, and suggested that the flick would be ‘laugh out loud funny’.
The 24-year-old actress said: ‘I think everybody is going to be shocked by how fun it is. It’s like one of those 90s movies you never see anymore.
‘It’s laugh out loud funny and you’re going to see a different side of me.’
It was revealed last week that the live-action/CGI Tom & Jerry movie is number one at the box office.
A revitalized take on the 1940s animated franchise about the adventures and antics of a cat (Tom) and a mouse (Jerry), the 2021 film had the second-highest domestic opening numbers of the pandemic.
According to THR, the film raked in $13.7M from 2,475 theaters and $38.8M globally as of Sunday – promising numbers as movie theatres across the country begin to open.

Another hit for Warner Bros., its Wonder Woman 1984 still holds the top grossing slot with $16.7M on opening weekend.
Despite roughly half of the nation’s movie theatres being closed, Warner continues to also find success by simultaneously releasing both Wonder Woman and Tom & Jerry for streaming on HBO Max.
Currently more major cities are preparing to open cinemas amid the COVID-19 pandemic, with New York aiming for March 5.
Moretz — who plays a wedding planner in the film — spoke about the project in an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live Wednesday, saying that she felt it made her a better actor.

‘It was so strange. I definitely think I’m a better actor now after doing that project. Half of the time I was improving opposite nothing because they’re silent characters. I’d imagine in my head what they’re improving back and then continue forward in the scene. So it was definitely a brain twister,’ she shared.
The Greta star also revealed a bit about what stood as place markers for the characters while she filmed in a November interview with People.
‘Tom was a stick with a name tag (seriously) and for Jerry at least I had a little to scale model of him.’
She said the experience was ‘so much fun,’ also saying that the animators really helped to ‘push the boundaries’ with what they achieved.
Visually pleasing: The film is vibrant and a family classic helping it score its high numbers which have reached $38.8M globally
