Jennifer Garner shares photos and tribute to co-stars as filming wraps on The Adam Project

Filming on the Netflix movie The Adam Project wrapped four days ahead of schedule on Wednesday.

And on Thursday, star Jennifer Garner posted a sweet message to her Instagram to pay tribute to her co-stars.

Alongside several behind-the-scenes shots, Garner described making the film as ‘the party of the year’.

The actress, 48, added: ‘I loved every minute in Vancouver, every minute on set with all of you and the incredible crew.’

Garner stars in the drama with Vancouver native Ryan Reynolds as well as Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana and child actor Walker Scobell.

Reynolds also paid tribute to cast and crew on his own Instagram and shared some of the same photos as Garner. 

‘If #TheAdamProject is a fraction as beautiful and funny and wild as it was to shoot, then I guess we really pulled something off,’ the actor shared. 

The Adam Project is directed by Canadian filmmaker Shawn Levy and both he and Reynolds serve as producers on it.

It tells the story of a man who travels back in time to meet his younger self and to confront his father who died when he was young. 

Last month, original screenwriter Jonathan Tropper told Collider that the science fiction elements of the film are secondary to the emotional story it seeks to tell. 

‘To me, the time was just a device. The movie is not a hardcore sci-fi time travel movie. It’s a movie about people,’ he said.
