You won’t believe what Fabio looks like now! Male model known for his iconic Mills & Boon covers still looks just as dashing at 61 – as he reveals he’s ‘coming to Australia to find a wife’

He has graced the covers of hundreds of romance novels.

But now he’s single in his sixties, Italian-American model Fabio Lanzoni is coming all the way to Australia to find love.

The legendary heart-throb, 61, declared on The Morning Show on Thursday: ‘Australian women are the best, period.’

Gird your loins, ladies! Now he’s single in his sixties, Italian-American model Fabio Lanzoni – known as the king of ’90s romance novel covers – is coming all the way to Australia to find love

Flamboyant Fabio still looked as dashing as ever during his TV interview, sporting long hair and rather loud purple shirt.

After complimenting the women of Australia, he raised eyebrows by describing them as more ‘domesticated’ than their American and European counterparts.

‘Everyone in the world knows they are down-to-earth, beautiful, very domesticated. The best thing for a man,’ he said.

‘What do you mean “domesticated”?’ asked presenter Kylie Gillies, as her co-host Larry Emdur winced next to her.

‘You are real women,’ Fabio explained.

Kylie then gave Fabio another chance to explain himself, asking: ‘But you don’t expect us to be in the kitchen with the apron on? That’s not what you mean, is it?’

‘Absolutely. You know how to take care of a man,’ Fabio replied.

Larry managed to salvage the situation by interrupting: ‘Why don’t I just jump in here and ask a question?’

The cringeworthy interview then turned to the sexagenarian’s dating habits.

‘Do you have a Tinder bio? Do you like to see how domesticated women are before proceeding?’ teased Larry.
