Tom Brady reveals what wife Gisele Bundchen asked him after winning his SEVENTH Super Bowl

Tom Brady has made it known over the years that his wife Gisele Bundchen would have him retire from football in a heartbeat if she had her say.

And the 43-year-old NFL star, who recently won the seventh Super Bowl of his career, received a hilariously exasperated greeting from the supermodel, 40, immediately after the big game in February.

‘I see my oldest son run over to me, and I gave him a big hug, and I saw my two little ones, and all of the sudden I saw my wife, and I gave her a big hug,’ he recalled during Tuesday’s episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden.

‘And just as I did it, she says, “What more do you have to prove?”‘ continued Tom with a laugh, which prompted Corden to ask: ‘And what did you say in that moment?’

‘I just gave her a big hug. I was trying to think of a way to change the subject really quick. I think I moved on to something else pretty quickly,’ replied the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback.

Tom and Gisele, who married in 2009, share eight-year-old daughter Vivian Lake and 11-year-old son Benjamin. Tom also has a 13-year-old son named John Edward with ex Bridget Moynahan.

Brady famously revealed Gisele’s feelings towards his lingering football career during a 2017 interview with SiriusXM, following his fifth Super Bowl win with his former team the New England Patriots.

‘If it was up to my wife, she would have me retire today,’ he admitted at the time. ‘She told me that last night three times. And I said, “Too bad, babe, I’m having too much fun right now.”‘

Brady was famously selected by the New England Patriots during the NFL draft in 2000. He stayed with the team until March of 2020 when he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 

Tom, Gisele, and their children left their home in Boston, Massachusetts behind and relocated to Florida, in order for the football stat to be closer to his new home base. 

Continuing to share some insight into his banter-filled marriage with Gisele, Brady told Corden that he has been ‘getting reacquainted with the dishwasher, where the broom is, and where the vacuum is’ since football season came to an end last month.

Tom explained that Gisele is not afraid to hand over a list of chores for him to handle, after having spent six months in football mode.

‘There is definitely [a to-do list] where Gisele says, “Okay! Your turn. You got breakfast this morning. You got these different things that I’ve been doing for the last six months, while you have been playing football.”

‘But [Gisele] has been the best supporter. She’s been amazing. I think, for me, [being at home] is just a whole different life  

He also revealed that he ‘recently had knee surgery,’ so he has been spending extra time with Gisele and the children as he recovers from his procedure.

The loved-up couple’s 12-year wedding anniversary occurred on February 26, which saw them paying tribute to one another on social media.

Meanwhile, Gisele has been undoubtedly enjoying having Tom around the house, being that it gives her more time to communicate her passions to her 16.9million Instagram followers.

On Wednesday, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel educated her fans on the ‘nearly one million species [on] our planet’ that are currently facing ‘extinction due to human activity and that has disastrous implications for all of us.’

Along with her words, Bundchen included a stunning snapshot of herself feeding a giraffe, while another grazed behind them.

Her post was in commemoration of World Wild Life Day, in the hope of encouraging others to recommit themselves to ‘{reset their] relationship with the natural world, for the good of people and the planet.’

‘Our medicines, food, water and the clean air we need for our survival depends on a balanced ecosystem and if we keep losing species, the ecosystem ability to function becomes compromised,’ Gisele stressed.
