Reese Witherspoon’s daughter Ava reveals change from bright blonde hair to lavender hued tresses

She’s the daughter of two of Hollywood’s favorite stars.

And Reese Witherspoon’s daughter Ava Phillippe took a drastic turn with her look as she unveiled lavender tresses on Instagram Wednesday afternoon.

The 21-year-old activist wasn’t shy with showing off her new style as she went from a bright blonde to a pretty purple shade for a new campaign with Hally.

Ava, who’s father is actor Ryan Phillippe, stood in front of a snowy mountainscape backdrop as she revealed her new hairstyle.

She rocked an ’80s-inspired snowsuit with electric purple zebra stripes and teal colored zippers while holding a helmet with mirrored goggles. 

‘I went purple and so can you!’ she captioned a series of snaps with a slew of purple heart emojis. ‘Purple Ava-lanche foaming hair color is now available for a limited time @colormehally.’

Ava detailed the process of turning her normally platinum blonde tresses into a plum color as she stood in front of a mirror with product in her hair.

She sported a tie-dyed sweater and wore eye masks while waiting for her hair to be saturated by the color.

For her big reveal, Ava held up to red Hally boxes and showed off a fresh blow out of eggplant hued hair.

She’s played around with her color before and dyed her tresses a bubblegum pink color just last year as Reese showed off a sweet snap on Ava’s 21st birthday.  

Reese was only 23 when she gave birth to Ava and revealed she was scared about her future before having kids, but was glad she experienced motherhood at a young age.

‘I find having little kids is more physical and it’s just really hard on your body. So I am glad that I had kids kind of young,’ she said in a YouTube interview. ‘I had one at 23, one at 27 and then again at 37. And, oh, my God, having a baby at 37 was so much harder. This is just me being real. Everybody’s life experience, you have to do when it’s right for you.’
