Casey Donovan and girlfriend Jade appear smitten as they attend Brunswick Ballroom Opening Gala

Casey Donovan and girlfriend Jade Sharp have been dating for several months now. 

And on Thursday, the pair proved to be going from strength to strength as they attended the Brunswick Ballroom Opening Gala in Melbourne. 

The couple were beaming as they cosied up on the red carpet posing for several photos together.  

Casey looked stylish in a purple dress featuring a multi-coloured belt that cinched in her waist. 

The singer completed the look with black ankle boots and she stunned with a full face of makeup featuring bold browns and a smokey eye. 

She draped her arm around Jade, who opted for black jeans and a shirt which she paired with a blue blazer and brown shoes. 

Her cropped locks were styled into tousled curls and she appeared to be wearing minimal makeup for the outing.  

Their loved-up outing comes after Woman’s Day reported that the pair were in a relationship last month. 

An insider said the romance has given Casey ‘a new lease on life’ after she was cruelly catfished by her former friend for six years. 

The pair’s relationship is believed to be quite serious, with Jade preparing to move into Casey’s Melbourne home.

The I’m a Celebrity star also spent Christmas with her new girlfriend’s family.

‘Jade is letting it go at her own pace. She isn’t being pushy at all and Casey trusts her wholeheartedly,’ the insider added.

Casey has previously spoken about being unlucky in love.

She was the victim of a bizarre catfishing hoax for six years, which was orchestrated by a female friend, Olga. 

Olga had deceived Casey by posing online as a man named ‘Campbell’ and in a cruel twist, she even convinced Casey to have a physical relationship with her, insisting it would ‘please’ Campbell.

In July 2018, Casey told Stellar magazine she had no idea why she was catfished.

‘I think it has a lot to do with my vulnerability,’ she said.

‘I can be a complete b***h, but it’s the openness that sometimes the nasty ones spot and think ,”OK, we’re gonna take this chick for all she’s worth.”‘
