On Thursday the 39-year-old hitmaker — who has been a trending topic in recent weeks — shared a video to Instagram of she and Asghari doing a rendition of her song Toxic while in the shower.

Britney’s conservatorship has been a hot button topic since the New York Times Hulu documentary premiered, with her actively trying to get her father removed from exercising control over her life both financially and personally.

Jamie requested for a temporary conservatorship over the Womanizer singer following her second psychiatric hold, and was granted control over her estate and any decisions related to her health 13 years ago.

At his request it has been extended numerous times, most recently until September 2021 and in a February court hearing he tried to oppose a co-conservatorship with Bessemer Trust (who shares power over her finances), but was denied by the court.

Spears has been pleading for his removal through her court-appointed attorney Samuel Ingham III who has said she is ‘afraid’ of him and refuses to work until he is removed.

His attorney Vivian Lee Thoreen defended him in a recent interview with CNN saying: ‘Whether or not there is an end to the conservatorship really depends on Britney. If she wants to end her conservatorship, she can file a petition to end it,’ adding that he would love ‘nothing more’ than to see her not need a conservatorship at all.

The next court hearing is scheduled for March 17.
