MAFS villain Sam Carraro blindsided by Coco Stedman’s cheating scandal

Married At First Sight looks set to be rocked by another cheating scandal, with recent previews teasing a romance between Coco Stedman and Cameron Dunne.

And in a new interview with Fitzy & Wippa, Coco’s on-screen husband Sam Carraro says that he had no idea that the bubbly brunette had been chatting up Cameron behind his back.

‘I can’t talk too much about it but yeah, I didn’t know that it was going on, I didn’t know anything about it,’ the 32-year-old said.

Sam also confirmed that he didn’t pursue Alana Lister on the series, despite showing interest in the glamorous teacher in some of his confessionals.

Discussing his villainous portrayal on the show, Sam admitted that it’s been hard to watch himself back.

‘I’ve been cringing myself watching, it’s been very hard to watch myself,’ he said.

‘Believe me I’ve been thinking who is this guy?’

The aspiring fashion designer also hinted that editing could be to blame for his portrayal.

‘There’s a lot that’s been left out. We were on there for two months and you only see a couple of minutes,’ he said.

According to a teaser trailer, which aired at the end of Tuesday’s jam-packed episode, Coco is set to get cosy with fellow groom Cameron.

Following yet another emotional confrontation with Sam, an emotional Coco confessed: ‘All I wanted was someone who just wanted me for me.’

She then invited fellow participant Cameron, 32, to come to her apartment, claiming she wanted his ‘advice’.

‘He doesn’t find me attractive,’ Coco told Cameron of Sam, who reassured her that she’s ‘a good-looking person’.

The two then shared a laugh, before Coco admitted: ‘There is that spark there.’

‘It’s been so bad with Sam, and then this bloke walks in like a breath of fresh air,’ she continued.

Cam was paired with Samantha Harvey on this year’s season of MAFS, with the couple already having their share of problems just two weeks into the experiment.

It’s not known how Samantha, 31, reacts to Cam and Coco’s growing friendship, with the two women having previously had a run-in on the first night at the hens’ party.

A major editing fail in the show’s premiere episode accidentally exposed Coco and Cameron’s potential affair.

In the footage, a man’s bulging arm with a huge tribal tattoo could seen tenderly stroking a brunette’s leg as they sat on a couch.

The ink appears to match Cameron’s arm tattoo, while Coco is only one of two brunettes on this year’s series.

During the clandestine moment between the two participants, the bride is heard saying she wished they’d been matched by the experts.

A furious Coco slammed Sam on Tuesday’s episode after he repeatedly put her down and criticised her.

‘For the past two weeks, I have not said one thing negatively about you. I have never ripped about your personality. I have never ripped about things that you say to me. I have never, ever said anything about your physical appearance!’ she screamed.

‘You can’t rip on every essence of everything that I am,’ she continued, before trailing off in tears.

Sam then burst out laughing, prompting a furious Coco to stand up and storm out of the room, before packing her bags and leaving.

As she walked out the door, Coco added: ‘There’s no coming back from this now. This is way too far gone.’
