Georgia Kousoulou got ‘sick’ of fans asking her when she was going to have a baby before pregnancy

Georgia Kousoulou has admitted that she got ‘sick’ of fans asking her when she was going to have a baby with boyfriend Tommy Mallet before getting pregnant.

The TOWIE star, 29, who is now expecting her first child with her co-star beau, 28, lamented the ‘disgusting’ pressure put on women to have a baby.

Speaking on Vicky Pattison’s The Secret To podcast, Georgia revealed that she even had to block the word ‘pregnant’ on Instagram before her baby news as fans would question whether she was expecting on her photos.

The reality star, who is currently 30 weeks pregnant, said: ‘I got so sick of people saying to me… like the minute I got with Tommy, I had the question, “When are you going to get pregnant?”

‘Like, bearing in mind, when I joined TOWIE I think I was 22, like I was not ready, I was like free as a bird, doing what I wanted. And, to be honest, I don’t feel ready now but I’m excited now.

‘But honestly if you were to have said to me last year, next year you’re going to be pregnant I’d have been like, “What?”‘

Georgia added: ‘I have been living my life and I’ve been so happy and the pressure that people put women under is disgusting like, I just can’t believe that people are allowed to say to you, “Are you pregnant?”‘

The reality star went on to explain: ‘Like Vick, I had people writing on my pictures every time I’d put on a bit of weight, “Congratulations, you’re pregnant”. Vick, I’ve had it for years honestly.

‘I had to block the word “pregnant”, I’ve unblocked it now because obviously I am but I had to block the word pregnant on my Instagram because people were writing.

‘Every time in the winter, I get like a bottom belly cos I eat and I enjoy putting on weight. I haven’t got to get in a bikini and I love that, but honestly, Vick… people would be like: “She’s pregnant, she’s pregnant!”

‘There would be like girls on my picture having conversations like: “Aw, congratulations”. I think that’s disgusting, you don’t know my situation, it’s a trigger!’

Elsewhere during the chat, Georgia admitted that she ‘didn’t tell a soul’ during the early stages of her pregnancy as she enjoyed having a secret.

The reality star is expecting a baby boy with her boyfriend Tommy and she is currently 30 weeks pregnant.

Georgia said: ‘I hid it, I didn’t tell a soul. I didn’t tell our parents until I was 10 weeks. I found out when I was week 1-2 weeks pregnant. I was filming 6 days a week and didn’t, no one knew.

‘I told Chloe Sims and all the cast, on the show. I did not tell a soul. I don’t know why, I kind of enjoyed the secret. I loved it, like, “Oh, I’ve got a secret!”. I really loved it, it was great. It was like my own little secret and no one knew it was really nice.’

Georgia also revealed that she has started to ‘cry about everything’ during her pregnancy.

She said: ‘Do you know what, I’m not a soppy one but all of a sudden I’m just like… I cry about everything. I’m just… that lamp is so cute and I’ll cry, like honestly, I can’t.

‘Tommy will go: “What is wrong with you?” and I’ll be like: “I don’t know I’m just crying!”‘

Georgia shared a funny story as she revealed that she started crying after Tommy said ‘what’s that smell?’ as she thought he had said ‘you smell’.

Georgia and Tommy are preparing to document parenthood on their very own reality show.

The couple will follow in the footsteps of Ferne McCann and sisters Sam and Billie Faiers and film an ITVBe spin-off about life as new parents.

A TOWIE insider told MailOnline in December: ‘Due to the couple’s popularity, ITVBe have also signed them up for a spin-off series and they’re planning to share their baby with viewers on TOWIE in the future.’

Speaking on Vicky’s podcast, Georgia added: ‘Me and Tommy are doing our own show. Like a special of the baby.’I’ll be filming TOWIE and the idea is that viewers won’t miss anything with the pregnancy.

‘We’ll film an hour [long episode] before the baby is here of the preparation, moving house and stuff. And then the next step will be the baby’s first moment.’

Georgia also explained why she decided to do the show: ‘For me, where we met on the show I just think it felt right. It was just real. I feel like I had to give something back to the viewers.’

The couple have found out the gender of their baby and picked out a name as they prepare to welcome their little one in May.
