She has been keeping fans updated with her lockdown antics.

And, Carol Vorderman endured 18 hour fast and a sweaty home gym workout before gorging on a roasted chicken feast, on Wednesday afternoon.

The former Countdown presenter, 60, took to Twitter to let her followers know that during her fast, she’d also taken a long walk and was now craving a chocolate brownie.

Carol first tweeted a video of her food being cooked up, and told her fans: ‘Been a busy girl…..Guess what?

‘Yep been walking loads this morning and then stuffed a chicken in the oven before my weights session. As Peter Kay says “thinking…..always thinking”.’   

Alongside a video of the spread before her, Carol tweeted: ‘Nom Nom……I could smell this gorgeous chicken roasting when I wa doing all my sweaty stuff in the gym…..nice feeling……oh yeah babycakes.

‘I’m so ready for this. Been fasting for 18 hours…..yessssssssss’ and reiterated: ”Ready for this meal… 18 hours fast… nice walk and a sweaty gym sesh. can’t wait.’

An hour later, after indulging in her substantial meal, Carol shared a video of herself looking satisfied, which was captioned: ‘I’ve had my lunch… Stuffed now! #Greedy.’ 

Speaking to her followers, she laughed as she said: ‘Ermmm I’m stuffed now! That was a lot of chicken. Just fancy a chocolate brownie.’

Fitness fanatic Carol received her first coronavirus vaccine at Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol, last month. 

The broadcaster lauded the staff and volunteers for their hard work and meticulous organisation.

In a lengthy Instagram post, the TV star wrote: ‘I’ve had my vaccine jab this morning. This was so well organised and really quite an emotional experience.

‘From the smiley lady directing people in the car park and putting everyone at ease to the volunteers and staff at @ashtongatestadium Bristol.

‘A huge coincidence happened tho. I love chatting and was blathering away to the wonderful Dr Susan Clompus who gave me my jab. And it turns out we were at school together HUNDREDS of Miles away in Rhyl, North Wales.

‘I went to her brother’s birthday party and apparently I was a very nice Prefect cos I didn’t tell anyone off… oh I do love this world’. (sic)
