Kate Beckinsale has been entertaining her 4.6 million Instagram fans and followers with images of her beloved Pomeranian pooch, Myf, and her two Persian cats, Clive and Willow.
But on Monday it was Clive’s turn to soak up the spotlight when he decided to use his famous mom’s lap as a bed — and it was all caught on camera.
‘I said “Mount me like I’m a log flume” and this just organically happened,’ the actress, 47, wrote in the caption of a quick video she shared on the social media platform.

The clip began with a close-up on Clive laying on his back with his legs stretched out that slowly panned upward to show Beckinsale sitting motionless on a chair in front of a countertop.
The Underworld star tried to remain as still as she could while staring down at the cozy feline, who was dressed in a mini Louis Vuitton jacket.
After briefly gazing at her four-legged family member, she then looked up and flashed a beaming smile.
‘Why’s he doing it?’ she whispered to the camera, so as to not startle Clive from his lounge act.

The British-born star opted for a casual and comfort in the fashion department dressed in tie dye sweatpants, a tan sweater and platform sneakers.
She also donned a white beanie hat over her long dirty blonde tresses that flowed over the front of her chest.
Trying to keep from disturbing Clive, Beckinsale kept her arms long and stiff as the beautiful kitty looked to not have a care in the world.
