Bryce Ruthven left ‘wife’ Melissa Rawson devastated on Tuesday’s episode of Married At First Sight, after he revealed he finds her the fourth most attractive bride.
The show’s participants were tasked with ranking the show’s brides and grooms in order of who they found the most attractive.
And Bryce, 31, told Melissa that Rebecca Zemek topped his list, ranking her at number one, while his wife only placed fourth.

Also ahead of Melissa, 31, were fellow brides Samantha Harvey and Booka Nile.
As he laid out all the female participants’ photos, Bryce asked Melissa if she was ‘noticing a theme’.
‘Blondes, tanned…’ she noted.

Bryce then said he was ranking Booka down lower on the list because of the 31-year-old musicians tattoos.
‘I’m not into girls with tattoos. Even though I know you’ve got tattoos,’ Bryce told Melissa matter-of-factly.
After ranking Rebecca, 27, number one, Bryce confessed she wouldn’t normally be his type, but ‘there’s just something about her’.

He was then tasked with adding Melissa to the ranking, and asked her not to look as he made his decision.
Finally, Bryce slotted Melissa into fourth position, after Booka, and ashamedly covered his face with his hands.
Looking up, a devastated Melissa called her ranking ‘a kick in the guts’.
‘I don’t even know what to say… Fourth? You don’t even get a medal for that. Big kick in the guts,’ she said

As Melissa grew teary alongside him on the couch in their new apartment, Bryce told her he didn’t ‘mean to offend’ her.
He explained that he was looking at it as if he was ‘out in a bar’, and judging women based solely on their appearance.

Bryce then swept the other women’s photos onto the floor before gathering them all up and throwing them into the bin.
He then pulled Melissa into a hug and tried to console her, urging her not ‘think too much into it’.
