Zara Larsson has revealed she’s been ‘well protected’ against ‘predators’ in the music industry.

The musician – who also posed up a storm in a high-fashion photoshoot for the publication – stated: ‘It doesn’t matter how f**king creepy you are, not a lot of people are trying to [make a] move [on] a 16-year-old’.

On achieving chart success in Scandinavia with her 2014 debut album 1, the songwriter detailed: ‘When I started doing this, I was a literal child. And I always had my mum and my manager with me.

‘So even though this industry can be a bit wild and weird, and there’s a lot of predators in it, I think I was very well protected. It might have looked different if I started off doing this when I was 23, when I was a woman.’

The Uncover hitmaker also shared her thoughts on pop, admitting she believes music lovers tend to relate the genre to teenage girls.

Zara explained: ‘I think people will always find ways to laugh at whatever girls are interested in.

‘Girls might not be in every CEO position in the company, where the big money’s at, [and] we might not produce a lot of tracks, unfortunately, but we’re f**king huge in performing pop.’

On living in the public eye, the award-winning artist confessed: ‘Sometimes I ask myself the question…

”’Hey, girl, do you really, really want to do this? Are you loving it? I’m just checking. Or do you just do it because you’ve been telling yourself that this is what you want to do, since you were a kid?”

‘But I do really enjoy it. At least for now. I don’t f**king know what I want to do when I’m 40.’

In the romance department, the Talang winner has been linked to dancer Lamin Holmén in recent weeks.

While she didn’t confirm her relationship status, the Stockholm native touched on how she priorities love in her life.

Zara said: ‘It’s me growing up a bit and realising that even though love is cute, I don’t need it. I do need it sometimes. Not all the time… I change my mind a lot.’

The songstress turned up the heat in sequinned silver co-ords with a sheer overlay for an accompanying shoot.

Commanding attention, the blonde sported drenched tresses and complemented her beauty with sparkling eyeshadow.
