Melinda Messenger has claimed she rejected advances from Spider-Man’s Tobey Maguire and Batman star Val Kilmer.
In a new interview, the former glamour model recalled when Hollywood stars Tobey, 45, and Val, 61, ‘chatted her up’ during the height of her career, but turned them down as she fancied Iron Man legend Robert Downey Jr. instead.
The Page 3 icon, who turned 50 on Tuesday, revealed she wants to attract a ‘sensitive, quiet’ man on her quest to find love, nearly two years after splitting from her First Dates boyfriend Chris Harding following an eight-month relationship.

Reflecting on her ‘great times’ in the spotlight, the presenter said: ‘I found myself at a party with Tobey and he started chatting me up. I was with a couple of friends and he was dancing with me and I didn’t know who he was.’
The media personality – who had a boyfriend at the time – added to The Sun: ‘His PR came up and said, ‘That’s Spider-Man’, and did we want to go out on a date? I just freaked out and panicked so I blew him out. I had a boyfriend anyway at the time.
‘On another occasion Val Kilmer asked me out on a date via my agent. And again I was just sitting at home thinking, ”Oh my god, is that Batman?”. And I had a crush on him at the time but I blew him out too.’
The transpersonal psychotherapist went on to confess she had a crush on former bad boy Robert, 55, but insisted ‘he’s probably exactly the type I attract that I shouldn’t be with’.

Screen star Tobey fronted Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy from 2002 until 2007 and is currently dating model Tatiana Dieteman, 26.
The producer was previously married to jewellery designer Jennifer Meyer, 43, for nine years, before the couple announced their separation in 2016 and the businesswoman filed for divorce four years later.
Val, meanwhile, played Bruce Wayne in 1995’s Batman Forever and recently claimed he hasn’t had a girlfriend in 20 years following the end of his eight-year marriage to actress Joanne Whalley, 59.
Thespian Robert, who has portrayed the role of Tony Stark since 2008, tied the knot to singer Deborah Falconer, 55, in 1992, but they finalised their divorce in 2004 after his past addictions put a strain on their relationship.

The blonde shares Morgan, 20, Flynn, 19, and Evie with Welshman Wayne Roberts, whom she was married to from 1998 until 2012.
Melinda later started dating coffee shop owner Chris in 2018, but called it quits following a ‘row’.

Earlier this week, the Live from Studio Five star said she’s considering to pay thousands in a bid to find a partner.
The host declared she’d ‘love to meet somebody’ and explained she’s open to finding The One with exclusive dating agency Sara Eden Introductions, which is said to charge up to £25,000 for memberships.
On being open to romance, the former Cowboy Builders star told OK! magazine: ‘I’m just starting to think it would be quite nice to date.
‘I would love to meet somebody but I’m quite shy so I would never make the first move.’
