Married At First Sight’s Booka Nile reveals she was ‘banned from Tinder’ because admins thought she was looking for a sugar daddy

Married At First Sight bride Booka Nile has revealed she’s been banned from Tinder.

The 31-year-old told New Idea her account was removed from the dating app because administrators wrongly believed she was looking for a sugar daddy.

The Make Them Suffer keyboardist said her bio included the text ‘I’m just here to match with your dad’ – a reference to a joke she says on stage at concerts.

Blocked! Married At First Sight bride Booka Nile has revealed she’s been banned from Tinder. The 31-year-old told New Idea her account was removed from the dating app because administrators wrongly believed she was looking for a sugar daddy

Booka used to often say ‘I’m going to date your dad’ while performing live with the Perth metalcore band, and it became an in-joke among fans.

‘It became a huge thing and at the time I had on my Tinder profile, “I’m just here to match with your dad,”‘ she revealed.

Not long afterwards, her account was deleted. ‘I think they just thought I was a sugar baby looking for a daddy online,’ she said.

The confession comes days after Booka tied the knot with electrician Brett Helling on Tuesday’s episode of Married At First Sight.

But the pair hinted they’d split earlier this week during an interview on Today Extra, when they did a live cross from two different cities.

Booka appeared on the show from Perth, while Brett was in Melbourne.

Hosts David Campbell and Belinda Russell immediately noticed that the two weren’t in the same city together.

‘You’re both in different cities, oh oh,’ David said at the start of the interview.

Belinda added: ‘Come on, guys, what is going on? Is there trouble in paradise?’

Electrician Brett, 31, insisted the pair just live in two separate cities and that moving interstate is a big thing.
