A man has revealed a little known hack ‘hiding’ apps on an iPhone, by changing their name and symbols to easily disguise them – but many people say it makes it ‘easy to cheat’.  

TikTok user Kaansanity, 21, from the US, often shares tech tips online to his 4.5million followers.

But many have said his latest hack had made it easy to for those in relationships to hide any apps they shouldn’t be using such a Tinder and Bumble – by making the dating app appear as something more mundane.

In the clip, which has more than two million views, the influencer shows how to change the app icons from the 'shortcuts' app.

Once opened, iPhone users can click on the plus button and add action. Next, users can search for the 'Open App' option and then click on a button with multi-coloured squares.
