‘I wasn’t a child actor, but my dad had a friend who was a casting director, and they were casting a music video for an artist named Brenda Russell. I kissed a young boy who was also in the music video. His name was Floyd,’ she recalled to W after covering their Best Performances issue.

‘So my first kiss was technically on set, and then I wasn’t on set again for over a decade after that. But that was my first kiss. It’s on camera. It’s immortalized for life,’ she added.

In the clip, Tessa played the younger version of a wife who is trying to get back to her childhood self as her marriage is falling part.

The film will see her character Valkyrie return to the Marvel Universe for the latest installment of the super hero series. Valkyrie was previously revealed to be one of the first LGBTQ characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The franchise had been criticized for merely paying lip service by making its LGBTQ characters supporting or background players and diminishing their queerness.

Tessa has enjoyed her time down under thus far, having been spotted horse riding and soaking up Sydney’s hot spots including Bondi Beach and Crown Sydney’s Nobu restaurant.
