Samantha Armytage unleashes her inner pop star when she hears a Dolly Parton banger on the radio

On Thursday, Samantha Armytage revealed she will be hosting a new lifestyle podcast.

And hours later, the Sunrise host shared a relatable moment she experienced before heading into her local supermarket.

Posting to her Instagram Stories, the 44-year-old sat in her car crooning along to a popular Dolly Parton song.

As Islands In The Stream played on the AM radio, an enthusiastic Sam mimed the words to the famous duet by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.

‘When you arrive at the supermarket but can’t get out of the car [because] there’s a really good song on the radio…’ she captioned the footage. 

In the video, the glamorous TV star appears to be donning a casual beige sweater and over-sized sunglasses for her supermarket trip. 

Her video comes just hours after she announced her latest project, a podcast titled ‘Something To Talk About with Samantha Armytage’.

The new venture, which will be in conjunction with Stellar Magazine, is a weekly conversation that is similar to her column for the publication. 

She uploaded a poster for the podcast and wrote in the caption: ‘BIG NEWS: I’m starting a podcast,’ she wrote.  

‘With @stellarmag a little weekly chat – similar to my columns. First one drops this Sunday… please tune in,’ she added.

The pair exchanged vows in front of a small group of family and friends at Richard’s 40-hectare estate in the Southern Highlands.

The couple reportedly started dating in April 2019 and officially confirmed their romance in November that year.

She has officially taken on Richard’s surname personally, and for now, will continue to use her maiden name professionally.
