Sylvia, who is in her third trimester and due in April, was even caught off-guard while preparing for the cover shoot at her Sydney home.

Sylvia leaped out of her makeup chair to grab her phone as her mother Janine beckoned her to the garden where Oscar was standing unassisted, albeit wobbly.

‘To see him standing like this for an extended period is a first… this is a very proud mum moment,’ she said at the time with her hand in her palm.

The Nine presenter is excited to be a mother of two boys as she was a very sporty tomboy growing up among a sea of other boys.

‘I’m not sure how I’m going to navigate the teenage years – that might be where Pete really has to step up – but I’m not worried about it. I know it will be a lot to keep up with two turbo little boys, but for now I’m just embracing the beautiful chaos.’

The couple are also glad Oscar and his soon-to-be born little brother will have a bevy of cousins to grow up with around similar ages – including Karl and Jasmine Stefanovic’s daughter Harper.
