And Madonna managed to step away to address her fans on directly on Wednesday, as she sent a recorded message using a hilarious face-altering filter.
The pop icon, 62, looked a far cry from her usual self, as she sported a filter which gave her cat-eye shaped lids and heavily pumped up lips.

The filter also added a slick of bright pink lipstick to the star’s lips, as well as lashings of eyeshadow in the same shade and winged black liner.
The Madame X singer wore her bright blonde locks in a bouncy curly style, while she was also wearing a black fur coat to film the short clip.
The Instagram filter also added a pair of huge gold hoop earrings to Madonna’s look.

Speaking to the camera, Madonna said: ‘Hi everybody out there, You know it’s been a while since I directly made contact with my fans and followers and taken the time to care about the way I look.
She sarcastically added: ‘I haven’t even really done that much, my hair is a mess and I think I may have put on too much pink eye shadow.’
Madonna went on to explain that she has been hard at work, and said: ‘I’ve lost track of reality because I’ve been in the edit working really hard. The lighting isn’t good there and I don’t have time to make my face and put on a cute outfit I just have to focus on work.
She finished by saying: ‘I truly love you and miss you all, I’m working really hard to make something fantastic for you, okay so get ready for Madame X. Hasta la vista.’

The legend is said to have ‘signed a deal with the streaming giant’ and the ‘one-off special’ will also include footage from her recent Madame X tour.

During the high-production tour she banned fans from using their mobiles in order to keep shows ‘intimate’ and ‘interactive’.

The documentary will also reportedly look at Madonna’s battle with knee and hip injuries which forced the star to cancel some tour dates after she was ordered to rest by doctors.
A source told The Sun: ‘Madonna quite literally put blood, sweat and tears into the Madame X tour and she wants this documentary to show it off for the spectacle that it was.
‘She’s never been the type to fade into the background, so viewers will definitely get to witness her dry sense of humour.

It comes after a slew of stars have teamed up with Netflix to release documentaries such as Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga.
This isn’t Madonna’s first documentary and in 1991 she released Truth Or Dare which followed the star on her Blonde Ambition tour and showed behind-the-scenes with her then-boyfriend Warren Beatty, 83.
