Travis Scott says daughter Stormi Webster looks ‘just like’ mom Kylie Jenner in photos for i-D

He’s a Grammy-nominated rapper whose proved to be a visionary when it comes to art and business.

But Travis Scott made it clear being a dad was his very favorite role while giving fans a glimpse of his life with daughter Stormi Webster in candid new photos taken by director Spike Jonze for i-D magazine’s Utopia issue.

The Astroworld artist, 26, couldn’t help but notice how much his little girl looked like mom Kylie Jenner as he watched her play dress up in one shot, which he captioned: ‘Lookin just like mommy in that second one.’ 

In the accompanying interview Scott spoke about the how fatherhood has changed his perspective on life and music, telling director Robert Rodriguez that watching Stormi grow up is ‘a major inspiration.’

The Sicko Mode rapper looked like he was in his happy place as he invited Her director Jonze to his Los Angeles home to spend a day with him and Stormi.

The three-year-old was the center-of-attention while hanging out in dad’s closet and twirling around a fuzzy dress which looked fit for a princess.

A shirtless Travis – real name Jacques Bermon Webster II – stood by, appearing in awe of his pride-and-joy.

In another charming shot the Goosebumps rapper held his little while they both opened their mouths to let out a scream. 

Travis – a pop culture fanatic – wore a shirt with Brak from Space Ghost while Stormi sported a vintage Batman & Robin tee.

Continuing to show off his soft side, Scott carried a small dog on the cover of the magazine. 

While Travis stared into the camera, the pup provided a poetic touch with a tag that read: ‘Hello human it’s going to be okay.’

Scott opened up about how starting a family helped him tap into a new type of creativity while chatting with fellow Texas-native Rodriguez for the cover story.

‘Fatherhood influences my job. It has a huge impact,’ Travis told the Spy Kids director. ‘It’s a major inspiration, you know what I’m saying?’

‘Especially Storm, she’s just acting like a kid. She’s always interested, she catches on and learns things and adapts to things so fast. It’s so crazy, Stormi’s generation is way different from mine, and she’s way different from my younger brother and sister.

‘Kids show you a different outlook on life, how they view things, the type of pressures they have and what makes them happy, what makes them move. 

‘Like, when she watches certain movies or listen to certain songs. Or she watches my concerts on YouTube and she realises she’s there, she’s ready to see now. I realised my job is way more important than what I thought because of her. More responsibility, you know? You’ve got to use that properly.’

Travis co-parents Stormi with ex Kylie Jenner. Though the pair publicly ended their romantic relationship in fall of 2019, they’ve remained extremely close.

And according to E!, there are still strong feelings between the two even though they are no longer together.

‘Kylie and Travis are still madly in love. You can tell every time they are together that there is a lot of love there. Both of their faces light up when they are together and both seem very happy.’ 

And while their connection hasn’t faded, reuniting isn’t a priority for the pair according to insiders.

‘Kylie and Travis spend a lot of time together with Stormi as a family and aren’t ruling out getting back together,’ a source said. ‘They aren’t putting pressure on the relationship right now.’
