Married At First Sight viewers take aim at groom Sam Carraro’s Giuseppe Zanotti sneakers

Married At First Sight groom Sam Carraro impressed new wife Coco Stedman with his choice of Giuseppe Zanotti sneakers on Tuesday. 

But it appears not everyone was impressed with the patent leather sneakers – which usually retail for around $1000 a pair. 

Twitter erupted with a number of fans hitting out at the ritzy but conventional footwear after the couple’s wedding. 

‘I’m sorry what are those shoes?’ one fan wrote, before another added: ‘Sam is wearing the worst suit and shoes ever and no socks!’ 

‘Shoes without socks and slacks too short to cover the ankles is a horrendous look,’ quipped someone else. 

Meanwhile, other armchair fashionistas were just as irate. 

‘Sam’s shoes – what the actual hell? It’s one thing for Jake not to wear a tie. But black sneakers that don’t suit the suit with no socks…no thank you. NAH AH,’ they raged. 

‘Those f***in shoes. Come on my guy. You’re asking her to leave you already. This is the kinda thing that happens when you have sh*tty friends,’ spat another. 

However, there were fans who liked his expensive taste in trainers.

‘What brand are those shoes?’ inquired one viewer. 

‘It’s the zip-up shoes for me,’ wrote another, while someone else echoed: ‘I like the shoes.’ 

There were also fans who questioned the future of Sam and Coco’s union.  

‘I feel like Coco and Sam will be over quicker than Kim and Kris Humphries.’ 

Another added: ‘Coco and Sam’s marriage is going to be a bloody dumpster fire.’
