Married At First Sight fans have criticised Bryce Ruthven after he revealed he’d been engaged just six months before appearing on the hit reality show.
The 31-year-old radio announcer made the shock confession during a conversation with his bride, Melissa Rawson, at their wedding reception.
‘Well, I, ah… I was engaged till six months ago,’ a nervous Bryce told a stunned Melissa, 31.

He continued: ‘I was with her for about five-and-a-half years and called it off because I knew she wasn’t the right person.’
Melissa later branded Bryce’s confession ‘a little bit of a red flag’, but said she’d try to be open-minded as she got to know her groom.
But fans weren’t as accepting, and claimed Bryce’s stint on the Channel Nine reality show came too soon after his split from his fiancée.

Added another: ‘I wonder is [sic] Bryce is using his vows from the wedding he called off?’
