Her new thriller I Care A Lot debuted Friday on Netflix in the US and on Amazon Prime in the UK.
And Eiza Gonzalez revealed some behind-the-scenes photos from the darkly comic film to Instagram on Saturday afternoon to celebrate the film’s release.
The 31-year-old Mexican actress showed off her character’s ultra-casual costumes, along with her uncharacteristic curled brunette tresses.

‘Thank you for making I Care A Lot the number one movie !!’ she gushed in her caption, referencing the movie topping top 10 in the US list for its opening day.
She also connected the film with the recent publicity over Britney Spears’ attempts to remove her father’s control of her conservatorship, which got a boost following the release of the New York Times Presents documentary Framing Britney Spears.
‘Conservatorships is a subject we don’t hear much about and the intention of this film is to shed light on how a systemically complex built business sometimes preys on innocent and or disabled people’ she continued, while reminding her 6.5 million followers that the movie still addresses ‘other very crucial social commentary in a cheeky way.
Eiza stars as Fran, the girlfriend of lead actress Rosamund Pike’s character.

Pike stars in I Care A Lot as Marla Grayson, a con artist who finds vulnerable seniors and falsely convinces judges that they can’t live independently and require a guardian.
Once she’s successfully created a conservatorship for them, she puts them in nursing facilities and sells off all of their assets for herself.
Her scheme is complicated when she creates one of her fraudulent conservatorships for a woman (played by Dianne Weist) whom she later learns is the mother of a Russian mobster who will do anything to get back his valuables that were in her possession.
Eiza’s character seems to favor T-shirts, and she was pictured in a gray-striped shirt reading ‘Dream On’ while posing in front of her trailer.
Another selfie showed her in a brown, white and yellow T-shirt tucked into a pair of slim black jeans.
A more low-key photo showed her relaxing outdoors between takes while in a partially unbuttoned white shirt, black jeans and checker slip-on sneakers.
