TV presenter Louise, 39, asked her: ‘Did you know you were having a boy? Did you guess?’

Binky replied: ‘No. We’re quite spiritual. Max’s mum’s spiritual, my mum’s spiritual, our whole family really. And so my mum was convinced we were having a boy. His mum was convinced we were having a boy.

‘I spoke to a spiritualist before lockdown and they said: “You’re having another girl, then you’ll have a boy.”

‘I was convinced I was having a [girl]. So when I saw the blue confetti I was genuinely so shocked!’

The whole “you’re feeding for two”, it’s all rubbish, of course you’re not really,’ she said.

‘You have to be more so, healthier than ever because you’re feeding the little one inside your tummy.

‘With India, because I was younger and because I was the first out of my friends to have a baby. I had no friends in the same situation, well, pregnant.

‘I kind of just let myself eat what I wanted and chill, and it was great, I mean I was so happy doing that.

‘But this time round I feel like I’m way more active and I feel like it’s making me mentally – especially with the whole lockdown thing – it’s making me feel so much better. I want to be healthier this time round.’

‘You hear that the second time round you’re bigger and I really was, so I was out of my normal jeans then.

While both mothers-to-be admitted that being pregnant in lockdown does have its perks, they are both worried about having to give birth alone or having to wear a mask during labour.

Binky said: ‘I’ve been reading loads of pregnancy stories in lockdown. I did a post about it this week and the amount of messages I got back from these women that had given birth without their partners there. Terrible, just terrifying.

‘Especially as your first time round. I feel quite fortunate this is my second time round, I don’t really need to do my NCT classes, I know what’s going to happen, I know my doctor.

‘I’m not freaking out about it, but the messages I was receiving from other women just made me so upset for them.’

Louise previously confessed that she was ‘really bummed out’ that her husband Mackenzie Hunkin could not join her for her pregnancy scans amid the Covid pandemic.

It’s a girl! Louise and Mackenzie recently revealed they are expecting a baby girl in a heartwarming gender reveal video

The former Plain Jane host and her husband of four years are expecting their second child in May and Louise told how she is keeping her fingers crossed Mackenzie will be allowed in the delivery room by then with the vaccine roll out.

Speaking in a YouTube vlog, she said: ‘Mackenzie is not allowed into the hospital with me for the scans which really bums me out. I still get nervous about them.

‘It’s a nice thing to see the baby on the screen and hear the heartbeat and it’s sad he’s missing that. They terrify you by saying partner needs to stay nearby in case we need to get them in quickly to tell them bad news.

‘Hopefully by the time I give birth in May, things will be better and he will be allowed in for the birth. I’ve had friends give birth recently and their husband had to leave after.

‘I really hope that’s not what we have to face. One thing I just cannot abide by is having to give birth alone.’
