‘It’s like an internet culture thing, where I think a lot of men tell women they’re wearing way too much makeup if they’re good at makeup, and they make you feel discredited for being really into something that you really enjoy,’ she ranted.

‘At the end of the day, makeup is art,’ she insisted, before explaining that many young girls feel the pressure not to wear makeup for the sake of boys’ approval.

‘I think some girls unfortunately feel the pressure. And this isn’t because they’re bad people or because they necessarily hate themselves, she said.

‘But I think because they feel so much pressure to be the ‘no makeup girl’ and be like, ‘I don’t wear makeup, I don’t have to enhance myself, I’m comfortable with myself, it’s totally fine’.’
