Fifi said that a major factor in her decision to re-join the show was to work on her fitness.

‘I’ve made a decision in life, which will surprise you… No I’m not leaving the [radio] show!’ Fifi said.

‘I haven’t left the [radio studio] chair, fitness hasn’t been my thing,’ she said as she reflected on the past few years.

‘But then I just thought; “You know what? Why not. It’s a challenge and that’s what life is all about at the end of the day. New challenges”.’

The brunette beauty will be reunited with her original dance partner Aric Yegudkin.

In October, Channel 10 confirmed that Dancing with the Stars will not be returning in 2021.

Dancing with the Stars originally aired from 2004 to 2015 on Channel Seven, before moving to Channel 10 in 2019 with new hosts Grant Denyer and Amanda Keller.

While it wasn’t a ratings flop for 10 – its 2020 finale was watched by a respectable 635,000 viewers.

However the numbers didn’t justify the budget required to produce a weekly live broadcast complete with celebrity salaries.

TV Blackbox reported this week that Channel Seven bough the rights to air the show in 2021.

'When they first approached me... I thought that maybe I actually didn't have it in me. I'm 43 now and I thought maybe I was too old,' she told The Sunday Telegraph
