Alex Rodriguez proves he’s a hip dad as he recreates a popular TikTok dance with daughter Natasha

He recently collaborated with the TikTok superstar Charli D’Amelio on a dance video.

And Alex Rodriguez brought some of that magic to a new TikTok video he filmed with his oldest daughter Natasha Rodriguez, 16.

The 45-year-old former Yankees shortstop recreated a popular slow-motion dance craze set to the rapper Ski Mask the Slump God’s song Foot Fungus.

Hip dad: Alex Rodriguez, 45, showed he keeps up with the times when he filmed a short TikTok dance with his daughter Natasha, 16, and posted it on Wednesday night

Both Alex and Natasha were dressed casually while they filmed the dance video in a spacious hallway.

The baseball superstar wore a comfortable powder blue sweatsuit, while his daughter with Cynthia Scurtis had on a white graphic T-shirt and slim gray jeans.

After she finagled with the camera, the two stood stock still at the start of the song.

The dance videos start with a more uptempo section of the song’s first verse, but the dance video version suddenly slows down the raunchy chorus for a chopped-and-screwed vibe.

Extra slow: They boogied about and threw their arms to the side, though Natasha's dad was half a beat behind her at all times

Once the pace goes glacial, Alex and Natasha moved their arms around in a circle as if they were turning a steering wheel.

They boogied about and threw their arms to the side, though Natasha’s dad was half a beat behind her at all times.

They put on their best dramatic pouts and moved closer to the camera as they finished up the short dance.

Alex often likes to the family time he spends with Natasha and her younger sister Ella, 12, though she wasn’t anywhere to be seen.

Also sitting out the TikTok video was Alex fiancée Jennifer Lopez, who has previously filmed multiple dance videos and humorous lip syncs with him.

He and the 51-year-old actress and singer spent a romantic Valentine’s Day together earlier this week, which both documented on their social media accounts.

‘February is our special month… our anniversary month… We met again for the first time on February 1st,’ Jennifer captioned a short video she posted to Instagram featuring the lovely bouquet Alex got her.

She continued, ‘the first time we went out was two days later and since then there hasn’t been a day we haven’t been together or spoken.’

The Hustlers star also commented on her favorite aspects of her fiancé’s personality.

‘I love your wickedly funny sense of humor… and how you always try to make every room you enter a more joyful one,’ she wrote.

Despite their seemingly endless displays of love, Jennifer revealed to Allure earlier this month that the two went through therapy together last year amid the pandemic.

‘We got to work on ourselves,’ the Jenny From The Block singer told the fashion magazine. ‘We did therapy. I think it was really helpful for us in our relationship.’

Although she found the slowed-down pace of their pandemic living to be stressful, A-Rod seemed to thrive with the change of pace.

‘I miss being creative and running on 150,’ she admitted. ‘But Alex, of all people, was like, “I love it. I love being at home. I love doing my Zooms. I love knowing the kids are there, and you’re there all the time.” It has been actually really good.’
