Kate Hudson flashes her abs as she dances around the set of Music in her sports bra and jeans… after forgetting her active wear

She may have her own line of active wear.

But even Kate Hudson forgot to bring her athletic apparel as she rehearsed a dance scene for her controversial new film, Music.

The actress, 41, posted video of herself dancing around in the studio, flashing her abs as she performed a routine in her cream sports bra and ripped jeans.

‘That day I showed up to rehearsal and forgot dance clothes’: Kate Hudson shared video of herself rehearsing a dance routine for Music in her bra and ripped jeans

‘That day I showed up to rehearsal and forgot dance clothes,’ Kate captioned the video. ‘#music This is a fun brain wake up move.’

Despite the fact she was wearing constricting ripped jeans, Kate glided effortlessly across the dance floor.

Though better known as an actress rather than a dancer, Kate looked incredible performing the choreography.

In Music, Kate plays a newly sober drug dealer named Zu who becomes the guardian of her autistic teenage half-sister, Music.

Though she struggles raising the youngster, she is helped by her neighbor Ebo (Leslie Odom Jr.).

The film is Sia’s directorial debut and has been widely criticized by the autism community and the recipient of negative reviews.

However, it still received two Golden Globe nominations – one for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, and another for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical for Kate.

Critics of the film have taken issue with the movie’s portrayal of autism, and the casting of Maddie Ziegler as an autistic teen rather than someone who actually has the disorder.

A new Change.org petition has received more than 57,000 signatures, calling for the Golden Globes to rescind the two nominations the film has garnered.

‘Sia’s debut movie “Music” is severely ableist and contributes to harmful stereotypes of autistic people,’ reads the petition, titled ‘The Golden Globes Must Rescind the Nomination for Sia’s Ableist Movie “Music”.

‘The Golden Globes must rescind its two nominations for “Best Musical/Comedy Picture” and “Best Musical/Comedy Actress: Kate Hudson “, and the entertainment industry must promise to actively work towards inclusion and better disability representation.’
