Kate Gosselin sells the Pennsylvania home she filmed the TLC reality show Kate Plus 8 for $1.1M

Nearly 14 years after Kate Plus 8 made her a household name, Kate Gosselin has finally sold the home she filmed the show in.

Gosselin, 48, sold the home for $1.085 million on January 25, according to The Sun, just three months after she listed the home at an asking price of $1.299 million. 

She bought the home in 2008 for $1.12 million, while she was still married to Jon Gosselin, before they split in 2008 after 10 years of marriage.

The home sits on 23 acres of private land in rural Wernersville, Pennsylvania, just outside of Reading, Pennsylvania, surrounded by a lush forest.

The six-bedroom home door comes with oak and cherry hardwood floors throughout, along with an, ‘expansive gourmet chef’s kitchen with large kitchen island and stainless appliances including three ovens, six burner gas stove top and two dishwashers.

There is also a, ‘large formal dining room with gas fireplace, tray ceiling and crown molding and ample built in storage and display cabinetry.

They burgeoning family first appeared on the NBC home reality show Home Delivery, where their first home was renovated after the sextuplets were born.

They were then featured in a pair of specials on Discovery Health, and after they both delivered high ratings, they signed the couple up for a show that would be called Jon & Kate Plus 8.

The show ran for five seasons between 2007 and 2009, with the Season 5 premiere amassing a whopping 9.8 million viewers, the highest in TLC history.

After Jon and Kate announced their split, the show was changed to Kate Plus 8, which debuted in 2010 and ran for six more seasons between 2010 and 2017.
