The Bachelor’s Matt Agnew debuts a hipster ponytail after ditching his clean-cut TV look – as he spends Valentine’s Day cuddling a horse

Matt Agnew has been shedding his squeaky-clean TV look for a more scruffy appearance since starring on The Bachelor three years ago.

And on Sunday, the astrophysicist, 32, debuted his latest new look – a hipster ponytail.

Posting to Instagram, Matt uploaded two photos of himself sporting the trendy hairstyle as he fed carrots to a friendly horse.

Giddyup! The Bachelor’s Matt Agnew, 32, debuted a hipster ponytail on Sunday as he celebrated Valentine’s Day cuddling up to a horse  – after swapping his squeaky clean reality star look to a more scruffy appearance

Looking worlds way from his suave Bachelor days, Matt posed in a simple, white T-shirt and ripped jeans, while swapping his signature spectacles for a pair of stylish sunglasses.

Matt, who is rumoured to be single, used the caption to poke fun at his Valentine’s Day celebrations, which involved cuddling up to a horse rather than a lover.

‘Happy Pal-entine’s day. Spend the day with someone who eats as much as you,’ he quipped, adding a carrot and horse emoji.

Matt’s Instagram followers were quick to comment on the post, with many noting how good he’s looking these days.

The hunk first revealed his longer locks in January, posting an Instagram snap of himself frolicking shirtless at the beach with a mop of wavy brown hair.

Weeks later, he revealed plans to grow his hair out even longer, writing on Instagram: ‘Let it grow, let it growwwwww [inner Elsa intensifies]’ – a reference to Disney’s Frozen.

Matt rose to fame on The Bachelor in 2019, and chose chemical engineer Chelsie McLeod at the finale to become his girlfriend.

The pair shocked fans when they announced their split in November that year, just six months after filming ended.

Matt said at the time: ‘Our relationship hasn’t translated from filming to the real, everyday world as we had hoped.’

He hasn’t publicly dated anyone since the break-up, but Chelsie recently debuted her new model boyfriend Ricki Dehaan.
