Miley Cyrus’ Valentine’s Day plans may have gotten a last-minute shakeup after she received a surprise proposal to be her Valentine from MMA fighter Julian Marquez.
The 28-year-old actress was mentioned in a surprise shout-out from the 30-year-old athlete on Saturday when he he asked her to be his Valentine after he emerged triumphant from a fight.
Miley seemed somewhat receptive to his request on one condition: that he shave her initials into his chest hair.

Marquez surprised ESPN anchors, first when he got his first win since 2017, and then when he mentioned the singer in a post-match interview.
‘I’ve been waiting 31 months to get on this damned mic,’ he shared.
“And to call these people out right now… this is my time to shine. So, Miley Cyrus — will you be my Valentine’s,’ the shirtless and sweating fighter asked.
He may have telegraphed his intentions even before the fight, as he used her cover of Blondie’s Heart Of Glass as his walkout music.

Miley sounded like she might be open to Marquez when she responded to an ESPN tweet featuring the request a few hours later.
‘Shave an MC into your chest hair and I am YOURS,’ she wrote, adding a heart emoji.
‘Happy VDay and Congrats my love!’ she added.
But rather than rushing for the clippers, Marquez instead tweeted out an ultimatum of his own for Miley.
‘@MileyCyrus If you get a henna tattoo that says Cuban Missle [sic] Crisis above your belly button like 2pac I’m in,’ he wrote, adding the hashtag, ‘#ThugLife.’
He also included a Photoshopped throwback image of Miley with the phrase added to her taut tummy.
