Matt Damon and Chris Hemsworth flew from Byron Bay to Sydney on Sunday night.
The Hollywood actors shared a private jet as they traveled to New South Wales’ capital city for a week of filming Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder.
The Damon family only recently completed their private quarantine in a $7,000-a-night mansion near the trendy coastal town.

Filming began for Thor: Love and Thunder on January 26 at Sydney’s Fox Studios, but this appears to be the first time Damon has flown to Sydney for his involvement.
Damon, 50, and his wife Luciana Barossa, 45, were the first A-list guests to exit the private jet.
Dressed casually, Damon wore a grey T-shirt and jeans with a baseball cap.
Meanwhile his stunning wife looked relaxed for the short flight in white trousers and a black singlet top.

The couple, who wed in 2005, appeared to leave their children behind in Byron Bay for the short work trip.
The Damons, including daughters, Isabella, 14, Gia, 12, and Stella, 10, arrived in Australia via private jet in January and immediately moved into an Airbnb mansion.
The Hollywood mega-star’s family paid for their own private security, police monitoring, hospital-grade cleaning, staff, meals and regular medical checks.
With the price set at $7,000 per night for the modern-day cheateu property, it’s likely the star spent upward of $90,000 on the accommodation alone during his mandatory 14-day quarantine period.
While many visiting stars have kept quiet about the quarantine process, Matt’s immigration lawyer explained every detail of the Damon’s move Down Under.

Damon has long been a fan of Australia and has been seen out-and-about in Byron Bay with pal Chris Hemsworth numerous times over the past few years.
Hemsworth has played the hammer-wielding Norse god Thor in the Marvel franchise since 2011, and has starred in eight movies as the superhero.

Unless the Asgardian actor character survived Hela and Surtur’s attacks, it would appear Damon might be taking on another role when he returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the new film.
The Australian production of the fourth installment in the Thor franchise was made possible by a AUD$24.1 million location incentive by the NSW and Australian Governments.
Other stars known to be joining the fourth Thor film are Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), Natalie Portman (Jane Foster), Chris Pratt (Peter Quill or Star-Lord), and Christian Bale (villain Gorr the God Butcher).
