Back to work! MasterChef star Poh Ling Yeow spends Valentine’s Day working at her food stall in Adelaide… weeks after announcing her split with second husband Jonathan Bennett

Poh Ling Yeow shocked fans when she announced that her marriage to Jonathan Bennett was over earlier this month.

And on Valentine’s Day, the MasterChef star was spotted selling her cakes and famous desserts at her Jamface market stall in Adelaide.

The recently single 48-year-old was smiling and chatting alongside her first husband, Matt Phipps, who lent her a helping hand at the stall.

The pair sent tongues wagging when they were snapped laughing all the way through their shift.

Poh couldn’t wipe the smile off her face as she was seen taking selfies and posing for photographs with fans.

Poh looked stylish in a sleeveless black top which featured a floral print which she paired with black skin-tight pants and matching sneakers.

She was all glammed up for the occasion, and wore makeup which consisted of red lipstick and light foundation.

She swept her dark locks back into a ponytail and opted for a full face of makeup featuring eyeliner and a pink pout.

It appears that Matt stepped in to work for Jonathan, who was noticeably absent from the markets.

Poh split from Matt in 1999, but the acclaimed chef has remained close friends with her ex, who is a co-owner of Jamface.

The colleagues appeared to be enjoying themselves, chatting away and sharing a laugh while working.

Earlier this month, Poh announced she had split with her second husband Jonathan after six years of marriage, and 12 years together in total.

Speaking to The Weekend Australian magazine, she said: ‘2021 is about me doing the things I love and remembering who I am without another person. [Husband] Jono and I broke up.’

‘But Jono and I still work together and are the best of friends,’ she said.

She added that it was the most ‘untraumatic breakup possible’.

Poh became a household name after appearing on MasterChef season one in 2009.

In 2019, she returned to the show as a mentor. And in 2020, Poh gave it one more shot as a contestant in the Back to Win series and placed 6th.
