A Scottish dessert parlour owner has been branded ‘savage’ for his hilariously scathing responses to negative reviews on Just Eat.

Masam Ali, owner of Shuga Daddy in Paisley, Renfrewshire, hit out at an unhappy customer who complained on Saturday about portion size by saying he would take their advice and ‘flush it down the toilet’.

The Just Eat reviews were first posted by Twitter user @KelseyRobin99 who shared screenshots of some of the reviews and wrote: ‘I’m in actual tears at the just eat reviews on a dessert place in my town.’ 

One customer called Joel said: ‘Do not order from here! I tried calling the shop 11 times with no answer and the number on their website is invalid.

‘Food that was supposed to be warm wasn’t and the ice cream tub wasn’t full either and took over half an hour to deliver even though we live 11 minutes away.

‘Will not be going here again, really disappointed.’

In response, Mr Ali said: ‘Oh Joel please dry your tears. Your delivery to Renfrew took a whole half an hour, that’s including food prep.

‘If you want it within 11 minutes then please order from one of The Avengers and not Shuga Daddy.’

Just Eat customer Sarah said: ‘Milkshake was spilled and cookie doe was cold.’

Mr Ali responded by correcting the woman’s spelling, writing: ‘Dough’.

Another customer, Lewis, said: ‘Absolutely shocking price for the portion size. It was also late by 25 mins. Won’t be buying from here ever again. Hope you take some advice. Thank You.’

The sweet shop owner responded: ‘Thanks for the advice Lewis. I have taken your advice, wrapped it up in some toilet paper and flushed it down the toilet.

Mr Ali’s wife Romana Ali responded to the viral post yesterday, writing: ‘My husband is savage.’

She posted a photo of her hubby replying to another review which slams the store for being too expensive.

He wrote: ‘Hello Shay, It’s £5.99 for a waffle and a scoop of ice cream. So thank you for paying the instalment for my Lambo this month.’

Since the reviews were shared onto Twitter on Saturday, the post has attracted over 2,700 likes and comments from social media users.
