Nelly places his six-bedroom Missouri mansion on the market after plans to fix it up did not pan out

Nelly is hoping to sell one of his properties, which he originally planned to flip, but has sat vacant for almost two decades.

The 46-year-old rapper has placed his mansion in Wildwood, Missouri, with breathtaking views of the woodlands surrounding the Meramec River, on the market for $599,000, according to TMZ.

The performer’s sizable six-bedroom, seven-bath estate sits on almost twelve acres of land and features an outdoor basketball court as well as separate game and media rooms.

The Ride Wit Me songwriter originally planned to remodel the residence with a contractor friend when he purchased the mansion 19 years ago.

However, the planned modifications were never actually done as intended and the house has remained in a state of disrepair for many years.

The publication also reported that Nelly simply wants to cut his losses and move on from the investment.

The property lies just off of a sparsely populated portion of land roughly thirty miles outside of St. Louis and just minutes away from the Hidden Valley Ski Resort in the nearby city of Eureka.

The home features a palatial entryway perfect for glamorous photoshoots; the rapper is not known to have done so during his time as the owner of the property.

A sizable garage was seen attached to the side of the rapper’s real estate investment; it is not known how many cars are able to fit inside the storage area.

The mansion’s foyer features multiple arched walkways towards other rooms in the property and boasts impressive marble tile flooring.

Many rooms in the house have an exposed subfloor, meaning that the future owners of the house will be able to choose their own flooring.

Several portions of the mansion feature beautiful sets of columns that accentuate the property’s potential beauty.

Large windows allow plenty of natural light to flood into the estate during the daytime and also offer expansive views of the woodlands that surround the house.

The living room prominently features a sizable fireplace just underneath a space that would be perfect for mounting a television.

The windows in the living room also allow for plenty of natural sunlight to pour into the space during the daytime.

One of the mansion’s restrooms features a lovely glass wall just next to a bathtub enclosed in gorgeous white marble; there is also plenty of storage space for personal items in the sink area.

An upstairs room features a private fireplace and a balcony that offers great views of the woodlands around the property.

The mansion also boasts a sunroom with large French doors that allow access to the sizable backyard.

The back part of the mansion appears to have been the site of an aborted fix-up attempt, as a large portion of dirt is surrounded by large sections of cracked tile.

A pool and fountain are also included in the listing, although both will require repairs before they are brought back to decent condition.

A cinderblock wall that sectioned off part of the backyard was also seen collapsed and completely overtaken by a large mound of dirt and debris.

Further downwards from the property lies a sizable blue-and-red basketball court that also offers expansive views of the surrounding scenery; several areas for seating have been installed.

Much of the flooring of the athletic area appears to have been damaged by its long exposure to the elements and lack of upkeep.

A small gazebo-esque structure was also installed at the midway point between the estate and the basketball court.

In 2009, several video games and multiple pieces of electronic equipment was stolen from the home by a burglar; Nelly was not at the residence when the crime occurred.

The performer owns multiple other residences in and around the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area.
