Larsa Pippen ‘offered a role’ on new Real Housewives Of Miami after promises for more diversity

Larsa Pippen again ‘offered a role’ on the new Real Housewives Of Miami… after promises that the reboot will be more ‘diverse’ than the previous cast

It looks like she might be back on the show that made her a Real Housewife.

ET Online reports that Larsa Pippen has been ‘offered a role’ on the new Real Housewives Of Miami, which was announced earlier this month.

A source has revealed to the outlet that the 46-year-old ex of NBA star Scottie Pippen ‘has been offered a role on The Real Housewives of Miami and is considering it.’

And while Bravo has no official comment yet on the RHOM reboot, casting has allegedly begun.

The news comes after it was previously reported that the new version of the series, which first aired for three seasons a decade ago, would be more diverse this time around.

Earlier this month, Entertainment Tonight claimed that The Real Housewives Of Miami is coming back to the cable channel after originally airing from 2011 to 2013.

But the nascent series will be much more ‘diverse,’ according to UsWeekly, than the previous cast that included Joanna Krupa, Alexia Echevarria and Kim Kardashian’s former friend Larsa.

Pippen, however, only appeared in the first season of the show, in just seven episodes.

Other stars of the show were Marysol Patton, Lea Black, Adriana de Moura and Cristy Rice. Lisa Hochstein, Ana Quincoces and Karent Sierra were brought on later.

The new show is full steam ahead, it has been claimed by ET.

‘They have started interviewing a bunch of different women,’ an insider told Us.

‘They want to have a very diverse cast and are speaking to women from all different backgrounds.’

Candidates have already been interviewed ‘several times’ it was added and Bravo is reportedly ‘very close to narrowing down a cast.’

In November, Bravo star Andy Cohen suggested a new RHOM could happen.

When on Everything Iconic With Danny Pellegrino Andy said, ‘I have really been trying to get Peacock to pick up Miami.

‘I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this. I don’t know where we are with that.’

He also shared, ‘The problem with the third season was that the ratings were declining as it went on and they went down for the reunion, which is usually the opposite of what happens.

‘I think that went into the decision to not pick it up.’

And the father of one said fans really want a fourth season for NBC’s streaming service, Peacock.

Bravo declined to comment when asked about the possibility of the show’s return.
