Chrissy Teigen showed off her massively swollen lips on her Insta Stories on Sunday – and made sure to get ahead of the rumor mill.
In order to avoid any conjecture that she had gotten lip fillers she revealed that she was actually having an allergic reaction.
The 35-year-old wife of John Legend took a guess that her body might be responding to ‘a pesticide or something’ on an orange.

‘You’re all just gonna think that I got lip fillers but I didn’t get lip fillers but I didn’t get lip fillers between last night and now,’ she dished.
‘I had I think bit an orange to try to open it,’ she said with a laugh. ‘And I think there must’ve been like a pesticide or something on it.’
She touched her lower lip as she said: ‘Ugh, it’s like hard,’ before flicking it and giggling: ‘Look how bouncy it is!’
In a follow-up selfie video on her Insta Stories she pouted up a storm for the camera and pointed out: ‘Nose is swollen too lol.’

Earlier this week she wrote on her Insta Stories: ‘Hello, I have a quick and simple request. I’m gonna go ahead and ask anyone that has plans for me, to ask me for something, a favor or like a quick easy thing.’
‘She said: ‘Just know that it seems quick and easy, but when it comes from every f***ing end possible, it’s exhausting.’
Chrissy went on: ‘And I can’t save everybody, and I can’t do everything, and I can’t say everything, and I can’t do everything right and perfect for you. It’s exhausting, and it’s sucking me dry. It’s taking my soul, and I need you to understand. OK? I can’t do everything for everybody, and I love you though. Sorry.’
She dished later: ‘There are certain things that I love to do and I want to do, and I’ve made those things clear to those people. And it’s so weird because the people that I love, the things I’m interested in, and the people that I’d want to do things for all the time, never ask. And it’s always like the most random f***ing people. It really is.’

Chrissy married her husband in 2013 and they are the proud parents of two children – a daughter called Luna, four, and a son called Miles, two.
At the end of September Chrissy announced that she had tragically lost a baby ‘about halfway through her pregnancy,’ which is to say about 20 to 24 weeks.
‘We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions,’ she wrote on Instagram, adding that they had already decided to name their son Jack.
Chrissy posted an Instagram album showing her mourning with her husband and mother in the hospital, as well as cradling Jack.

She has gotten a tattoo of Jack’s name to match those of the names Luna and Miles, she revealed on her Instagram on Halloween.
In December she announced that she decided to give up drinking after ‘my doctor and friend’ sent her a book on sobriety as a birthday gift in November.
‘I was done with making an a** of myself in front of people (I’m still embarrassed), tired of day drinking and feeling like s*** by 6, not being able to sleep,’ she wrote.
Chrissy previously took a break from drinking for a wellness retreat in Bali in 2017, and had also publicly committed to a month of sobriety in 2013.
