‘Do I move to the UK to find myself a lovely beautiful wife or what!???’ he quizzed his new British followers who’d flooded his social media with support.

It comes after an Instagram tribute Nic posted of him and Cyrell in 2019 went viral on Thursday when the couple’s break up aired on UK TV.

‘I want to thank you for sharing with me one of the most amazing and incredible experiences,’ wrote Nic to his ex-wife and co-star.

‘I know things weren’t always great between us. But I want you to know I cherished every moment we spent together,’ he said.

‘You are genuine, caring, loving, honest and most of all beautiful. The way you put people you care about first before you worry about yourself is truly amazing,’ the reality star told his ex-wife.

‘You have this really hard exterior, yet the inside is so full of love. You always have everyone’s back (who deserves it). You are an amazing judge of character and I applaud you for that,’ Nic continued.

‘Life is short and I just want you to know I will always care for you and will always have a spot for you.

‘Sending you lots of love and well wishes now in your new life as a happily divorced woman!’ he signed off cheerfully.

The couple ended their relationship amicably after Cyrell’s protective brother, Ivan, threw Nic out of the family house during the home stay week.

Ivan made it clear that he thought the relationship was simply not working.

Viewers rushed to the comments of Nic’s post from 2019 to share their heartbreak that it hadn’t worked out.

‘I still believe that the two of you still genuinely love each other,’ wrote one fan.

One wrote: ‘I found you to be a real gentleman through the whole process. Someone will be very lucky to have you.’

Nic thanked his British and Irish supporters in a follow-up Instagram post on Friday.

‘What a wild journey! Thank you so much for all the love and kind words from everyone who enjoyed the show in the UK and Ireland!’ he wrote.

‘What is everyone’s thoughts and feelings towards our wild season? Crazy or what?’

Nic, a tradesman from Newcastle, New South Wales, shot to fame on 2019’s season of Married At First Sight alongside his fiery tempered ‘wife’ Cyrell.

He has remained single since the experiment, but Cyrell has settled down with Love Island Australia star Eden Dally, with whom she shares a baby son, Boston.
