Kylie Minogue makes a VERY rare appearance with her father Ron in Melbourne 

She hasn’t been publicly pictured with her father Ronald in over a decade.

But on Friday, Kylie Minogue was spotted running errands with her doting dad in Melbourne, Victoria.   

The 52-year-old songstress looked glamourous for the seemingly casual outing, sporting a pretty peach gown which flowed down her petite frame beautifully.

The elegant dress featured a ruffled high neck, billowing sleeves and a cinched waist.

The skirt, however, was the centrepiece of the whole ensemble – with the silky material flowing down her slender pins like butter.

She teamed her look with a pair of flat sandals and an oversized tan tote bag.

Kylie accessorised with a pair of giant sunglasses and hoop earrings, and pulled her hair into a casual up-do for the occasion.

Her father, meanwhile, appeared in high spirits as he walked alongside his famous daughter.

He opted for a blue shirt, blue jeans and black trainers, and gripped a blue folder under his left arm.

While Kylie usually lives in London, her parents Ronald and Carol live in Melbourne, as well as the singer’s famous sister Dannii Minogue.

It appears the last time Kylie and her dad were pictured together was in 2009, when he and Carol came to visit her in London.

The Spinning Around singer travelled back to her hometown from the UK in December, and was forced to go into quarantine at a Melbourne CBD hotel.

The outing comes after Kylie and her boyfriend Paul Solomons’ engagement was confirmed by his ‘thrilled’ step-mother.

The singer has been dating GQ boss Paul, 46, since 2018 and in recent months has remained bashful over any speculation they are set to wed.

Paul’s stepmother Gloria, said she was ‘thrilled’ and ‘excited’ the pair are planning to marry as she spoke to MailOnline from the family home in the South Wales village of Llanbradach, near Caerphilly, on Friday.

The news was accidentally revealed by former pop star turned actress Billie Piper, 38, in an interview with British ELLE magazine, released last week.

Gloria, who has been married to Paul’s father Mark for 41 years, said she had not been aware of Billie’s engagement slip – and was eager for details of her comments.

Gloria stood in the doorway of her terraced home as rain poured down listening to a detailed account of Billie’s revelation of how Paul had saved her life in a London nightclub years previously when she was just 18.

After being told the story, which she appeared not to have known, Gloria declared with a broad smile: ‘Well, she’s right there, my son is a hero.’

Gloria also said she had met Kylie and liked her. ‘She’s very nice I’m thrilled they’re engaged.

‘It’s very exciting. But, I’m sorry, I cannot tell you any more because I’ve been told not to. I respect my son and I respect Kylie too much to say any more.’

Despite Gloria’s confirmation, a representative for Kylie denied the engagement to MailOnline.

The Australian superstar also wasn’t wearing an engagement band on her left hand during the outing on Friday.
