Bec Judd and Nadia Bartel party hard on a bus for Kylie Brown’s extravagant 40th birthday

Melbourne may be facing a strict five-day lockdown, but some of the city’s most famous AFL WAGs have managed to sneak in one last hurrah.  

Kylie Brown, the wife of former Brisbane Lions captain Jonathan Brown, was joined by her nearest and dearest on a party bus to celebrate her 40th birthday.  

Leaving Melbourne in a luxurious coach on Friday, Kylie, Rebecca Judd, Nadia Bartel and Emily McKay enjoyed a raucous day out, which included a lavish lunch at Yarra Valley winery. 

To celebrate Kylie’s milestone, former radio host Bec, 38, shared footage of the birthday girl by the bus’ bar, which was lined-up with a row of shots.

‘Happy Birthday my vampire friend,’ Bec cheekily captioned the video, referring to how youthful Kylie looks. 

Meanwhile, Nadia posted a series of videos of the girls dancing on the bus, all with a drink in hand. 

Kylie looked radiant on the day in a light blue crop top and matching high-waisted pants. 

The drinks were flowing, thanks to the bus’ very own bar complete with bartender.  

Kylie’s extravagant shindig began at a timely manner. The girls departed Melbourne around lunchtime just before Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews announced a state-wide hard stage four lockdown from Friday.

Andrews plunged all of Victorian into lockdown from midnight amid fears the hyper-infectious UK strain of coronavirus is spreading ‘at light speed’ around the state after leaking from a quarantine hotel at Melbourne Airport.

Stage Four restrictions endured by Victorians during winter have been re-imposed with residents confined to their homes except for two hours of exercise, essential shopping, care-giving and work.

 But the WAGs escaped the drama in the nick of time.    

Throughout the afternoon Kylie shared a series of photographs from the event, including one of Emily McKay, who recently split from husband and North Melbourne Kangaroos Majak Daw. 

Bec Judd was spotted in conversation with friends while enjoying a cheeky drink from the coach’s bar. 

Shortly after that, she stopped to take a selfie with the birthday girl herself. 

Although Kylie and her friends partied on the bus, they soon stopped at a local Victorian vineyard to indulge in some wine-tasting. 

Bec, 38, was the first to smile for a picture in front of a picturesque barn.

She wore a little black dress and accessorised with stunning black sunglasses that included pearl details. 

Meanwhile, Nadia, 34, sipped on a glass of white wine as she chatted to a male pal. 

This is not the first time the WAGs have let their hair down at a big event. 

In 2019, the partners of some of AFL’s biggest names relished in a wild Coachella weekend with their famous gal pals including Kylie, Nadia, Bec, and Jessie Murphy [née Habermann]. 

Channel Nine star Lauren Phillips and stylist Lana Wilkinson also joined the WAGS on their US trip at the time. 

After the group returned home, Bec shared a series of snaps, including one of the group standing in front of an iconic ferris wheel at the Los Angeles music festival.

Kylie and her husband share three children – Olivia, 10, Jack, seven, and Macy, five. 

Bec is married to Chris Judd, former Carlton player. The two share son Oscar, eight, five-year-old daughter Billie, and three-year-old twin boys, Tom and Darcy.

Meanwhile, Nadia Bartel is the ex-wife of Geelong player Jimmy Bartel and they have two sons, Aston, four, and Henley, two, together.
