Lucy Spraggan looked sensational as she showed off her toned abs while wearing a black catsuit in a new sultry snap she shared on Wednesday.

The former X Factor star, 29, channelled her inner Mel C as she slipped into the skin-tight PVC ensemble that she wore unzipped so that a glimpse of her cleavage was also on display.

Leaning towards the camera, she stuck her tongue out while posing in a similar way to Sporty Spice for the photograph.

Lucy’s dyed pink locks were pulled into a messy ponytail, and she accessorised with a pair of gold hoop earrings and a pendant necklace.

Joking with fans in the caption, she wrote: ‘It’s like my Mum always said back in the day: “Always have access to a PVC catsuit, as you don’t know when you’ll need to provoke unnecessary rage for a stranger on the internet by wearing it.

“Use their engagement as means to promote something like, I don’t know, an album called Choices that’s out 26th Feb 2020”. She taught me so well.’

It comes after Lucy recently recalled the shocking abuse she has received from trolls about her love of tattoos.

The singer proudly showed off her inked arms in a series of fun Instagram snaps on Thursday morning as she detailed the negative social media comments she has battled over the years.

The musician posed up a storm in her Chester home as she flexed her impressive muscles, while wearing a punchy tank top emblazoned with the words: ‘Tattooed women suck.’

In a lengthy Instagram post, Lucy explained that she was bombarded with negativity last year, with many of her followers criticising her collection of tattoos.

Grinning from ear to ear, the TV star’s bright pink locks were swept back into a ponytail as she flexed for the camera, proudly showing off her ink.

Alongside the image, she wrote: ‘Tattooed women suck. You know all last year when I kept getting comments like ‘you look like a man’ and ‘your tattoos make you look so much less feminine’ blah blah blah.

‘And I was like ‘whaaaaaaaat’ as I’d never had that kind of comment before?’

Lucy went on to tell her followers there is an entire Instagram dedicated to the demeaning comments women with athletic builds receive on a daily basis.

She added: ‘There’s an entire AMAZING Instagram dedicated to the s**t people say to athletic women and it rocks my world.’

Called You Look Like a Man, the page even has its own selection of merchandise, which Lucy is clearly a big fan of.

Signing off her post, the former X Factor competitor asked: ‘Has anyone ever said anything sh***y to you that you’d put on a t shirt?!

‘Despite it being 8 years ago, when I released my first studio album a pretty well known music reviewer called me a ‘badly eyebrowed busker’.

‘The review wasn’t even that bad. Might have to put that on a tee. What would your slogan be?’
