Kristin Cavallari clears up ‘s***show’ over Madison LeCroy and Southern Charm cast drama: ‘It is the weirdest situation I have ever been a part of’

She was caught in the middle of reality television drama.

And Kristin Cavallari attempted to clear the air surrounding Southern Charm drama as she chatted with Austen Kroll and Craig Conover’s Pillows and Beer podcast on Tuesday evening.

The 34-year-old reality star was accused of getting flirty with Kroll shortly after his split from Madison LeCroy, which then spiraled into a he-said, she-said war of words involving Kristin’s estranged husband Jay Cutler.

Talk about it: Kristin Cavallari attempted to clear the air surrounding Southern Charm drama as she chatted with Austen Kroll and Craig Conover’s Pillows and Beer podcast on Tuesday evening

‘Maybe we can clear up some rumors or some drama or whatever,’ Cavallari began as she dialed into the show.

Kristin said she slid into their DMs after they had been in contact with her best friend, Justin Anderson, and planned a visit to Charleston.

From there, relationship rumors began to swirl as both Kroll and Cavallari were newly single and sharing photos together.

‘It wasn’t romantic, it wasn’t flirty, you never told me you had a girlfriend because it never got to that place,’ she explained. ‘It was never flirty. No one hooked up with anyone. Nothing ever happened. We had a really good time. And then it turned into a s***storm. What happened?!?’

Soon after their rendezvous, Madison, 30, shared screenshots that she claimed showed past text messages between herself and the former quarterback, 37.

The South Carolina native upped her claims not long after Cavallari’s best friend, Justin Anderson, accused LeCroy of ‘making something out of nothing’ for attention.

‘I’ve named her ‘Scorpion.’ Scorpion happened,’ Conover said of his co-star. ‘She got involved and I think if she never got involved we would have just continued being friends.’

Kroll and Cavallari continued communicating despite the social media battle, and added that all of the drama ‘affected our friendship.’

‘Basically Kristin, you and I texted each other and we were like, “It sucks that our exes are so jealous that they try to torpedo our friendship,”‘ he said. ‘Like, so ridiculous. They didn’t have to overreact, they didn’t have to do any of that. The fact that their jealously affected our friendship is ridiculous.’

‘It is the weirdest situation I have ever been a part of,’ Cavallari said. ‘That I can one hundred percent say. And the fact that it’s still going on to some degree? I … it really has nothing to do with me. It really has nothing to do with us.’

In January, the Uncommon James founder and Cutler, who she wed in 2013, sent fans into a frenzy when they posted an identical selfie of them together.
